Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, has distributed food grains to her constituents to ease the financial burden of purchasing food during the Ramadan season.

The distribution included 1,200 bags of beans and 1,200 bags of millet, benefiting people across the district regardless of political affiliation.
Distribution to 57 Wards Across Kogi Central
The distribution event, held at the senator’s residence in Okehi Local Government, was attended by political and community leaders. Former House of Representatives member, Hon. Abdulrahman Badamasiu, stated that the process was initially delayed due to recent challenges but has now reached all 57 wards in the district.
Beneficiaries include religious organizations, market women, community forums, and political supporters.
Senator’s Commitment to Constituents Despite Suspension
Badamasiu emphasized that Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s recent suspension does not affect her mandate as an elected senator. He commended her remarkable performance within her first year in office and urged constituents to pray for her, especially during the last ten days of Ramadan.
He also assured that the senator’s empowerment programs would continue, focusing on skill acquisition and economic independence for constituents.
“In the coming week, a significant number of constituents will be trained in various skills and empowered as part of Senator Natasha’s vision of creating employment opportunities for her people,” he stated.
This initiative reflects the senator’s dedication to community development and her ongoing efforts to support the well-being of Kogi Central residents.
